Moving again

Starting September, I’ll be studying History of Art at the University of Edinburgh. If you’ve been following the blog throughout this tumultuous year for me, you’ll know that I didn’t make it into Oxford, that I went to my insurance university and that it wasn’t really the place for me. But I knew what I wanted – and what I didn’t want – from the get go, so I worked my ass off, reapplied, and now my Restart will officially happen in 28 days. Sometimes things happen for a reason, but someone recently told me that it’s also about how hard you work, and having a goal and aim and your priorities straight in life. So work/nerd it out until you get what you want! Always. Never settle.

Congrats, Vicky! I can't imagine how much work it must have taken to go through the application process all over again during your freshman year. I wish you all the best, and come visit me in NYC sometime! :)
