C for Charcoal

Here are some of the pieces I’ve been working on for my end-of-year art exhibition, which is in two weeks. I’m kind of nervous, since we have to provide an in-depth explanation about our work and how they all relate to each other. I really hope I’ll be able to present them well! The first work is charcoal on a 70x150cm canvas, and the others are just oil paintings on canvas (50×50 and 150×70).

Soft edge

Photos by Evgeny Rezunenko, Chris Zobl and Anna Gritsch. Editing by me.

This is the final batch of me from that KNEON photoshoot. I won’t be using any of these in the editorial (because that would be just weird, featuring myself in my own magazine) so here they are for you to laugh at! I was meant to be a model, but midshoot I realized that taking photos is more my thing – I’ll stick with snapping next time. The other models, Julia and Heidi, were absolutely amazing and I can’t wait to show you the final set of photos. You’ll definitely be stunned! Oh and don’t mind the messiness of the photos – I was just testing around with layout possibilities.

Butter and cream

Zara dress. AA coat. gifted necklace. vintage shoes.

Recognize the setting? These were taken on the set of a photoshoot for KNEON. I haven’t been able to work on any shoots lately, because my exams are in a week (!!) and I’m in a frenzy studying and cramming in information from the past year. So I’m sorry if my posts become infrequent! Anyway, below are a couple of backstage shots from the shoot by my friend Evgeny from that day.

All About Geometry

ES trench. Zara dress. Doc Martens. KNEON bag.

These were taken outside the Vienna Fair; it was a perfect day for an exhibition, since it was all cloudy and rainy outside. Below are some photos of my favourite works from the Fair. Attention to all European readers: If its raining outside within the next couple of weeks, try to not come into contact with the rain! It’s supposed to be toxic from the volcanic ashes and could cause skin cancer, so be careful. On another note, today for mother’s day I illustrated a huge card for my mom and didn’t argue with her when she nagged me haha. Have a lovely sunday!
